Does anyone have a picture or a record of the serial number of the RAF Vulcan bomber that was at the London Air Show in 1982/83?

Avro Vulcan B2 XL426 from 50Sqdn was in London in 1982

The Vulcan Restoration Trust is preserving Vulcan XL426 to ground-running condition at London Southend Airport

Apprently it was a K2 tanker so would XL426 fit the bill?

the one I mentioned was in London in 1982. the one you are talking about must have been 1983 then. seeing as there were only 6 K2's every made you can probly track sdown the serial # and narrow it down if anyone has pictures of it.

I just dug up a couple of pictures from the early 80's. I can't guarantee 82 or 83.
The serial is XM607.
In the picture there was an F15 from Langley (FF tail code) in front of it, a Voodoo beside it and an Air Canada 727 behind it. It was also a year with a CC130 doing a Jato performance.
Any idea's as to what year the picture is from?

I hope that helps. Please reply with the year if anyone gets it so I can add it to my photos.

Gman
