Just saw on YYZ news airport log that Blue Angel #7 was in YYZ on Thursday. Looks good to have them back for next year.

That will be great if the CIAS gets the Blues. will be good to have them back in Ontario for a show. Just wish it was a show with a runway.

It's either their 50th or 60th. About the Blues, I read over on Airshowbuzz that the Toronto show isn't on the approved Navy list for '09 shows.

Its true that CIAS isn't on the Navy approved list, but that doesn't mean they still can't be scheduled.

Does anyone know when the last time the Blue Angels came to the CIAS?

Hope the Blues make it, if they do, its going to be an awesome airshow year for us Ontarions!

If Selfridge can be on a seperate weekend from St. Thomas, which I heard it was, then we it will be an awesome year!

Ya I heard that Selfridge is going to be the week before St. Thomas, hopefully thats true. I don't know about the Blues I was just going by what Liza said over on Airshowbuzz. I guess we'll just have to wait until Dec 9th to find out for sure.

Ryan,

The Navy approved site says June 13-14, but I e-mailed someone from the Selfridge show, and she said that they are targeting August 22-23.

Lots of movement regarding this show, and its becasue they want to score a jet team. The last team to be at Selfridge was the Blue Angels back in 2005. Hopefully they can get the Thunderbirds, that would be nice!

As for the Blues in Toronto, I think we'll all be pleasently surprised  We'll have to wait until December 9th when the schedules are released!

Thanks for the info. It would be great if they could get the Thunderbirds I haven't seen them in several years.
