I will be heading down tomorrow leaving my place at 05:00. I will be there until the end of the show on Sunday and with any luck the weather will co-operate although the forcast looks a bit iffy for a couple of the days. The Hellcat is scheduled to arrive on Thursday afternoon. A four ship F-16 flight from Syracuse will come by on Friday and this will be the last public display of the Boys from Syracuse in their 16s as they are soon transitioning to flying UAVs. The F-15 east demo bird will be flying its practice on Friday between 1 and 2 pm and with luck, lots of other arrivals.

Not sure if anyone else is attending but I will post lots of pics when I get home.

Cheers,

Jeff :D

I spent Saturday night in Rochester after driving through several hours of thunderstorms. Weather turned out great for Sunday. I especially enjoyed the Hellcat, Helldiver, Wildcat formation. First time I have ever seen that rare combination.

Got home to Sarnia very late last night (stayed for departures and dinner then hit wonderful 2 hour delay at the border), soI haven't had much time to look at the photos yet. I'll post a few later on.

Regards,

Bill L

Sounds like a familiar story Bill. We were able to bail from the jam at Queenston-Lewiston and backtrack into Niagara Falls to avoid the border backup only to find ourselves in stop-and-go traffic on the QEW.

Here's a couple of quick shots of my Father's from the C-54 arrival on Friday, ensuring that every inch of runway is used and that the weeds (and shrubs) get whacked -

A few shots from Geneseo. Perhaps a little large...

The F-16 from Syracuse did one unexpected pass on Friday.

Well I suppose I'll throw up a couple of pictures too before we toddle off to the next airshow...only 2.5 shows behind atm, scared to think of the backlog after Oshkosh (poor poor pitiful me).
