Wow, this is great news! Funny that I was just mentioning to my wife only a day or two ago that London needs an aviation museum, and now it looks like its happening. Very cool. Maybe I should mention to my wife that I really need a Mustang, and see what happens by the weekend Paul

thanks Steve,
That is the most exciting thing I have heard in a long time.
A really great moment for aviation in our area. I will be joining ASAP to ensure that the venture is stable and continues for years and years.
I would suggest that as many of you guys should join that can so we can preserve and enjoy something extremely cool in our own back yard that we all love!

I'm definitely signing up too. This is a great opportunity for London, and London International Airport especially.

This is excellent news and will go a long way to putting London's viability as an established aviation centre on the map.
From little Acorns giant Oak trees grow.
I am a little disappointed that the museum will be holding monthly meetings in Woodstock! Any particular reason for that?
Congratulations.
Martin.

Martin,
The museum just took over their new digs at YXU yesterday, and the first meeting is there tomorrow (Monday) at 1900. They are now at 2465 Aviation Lane, Unit #1. I'll be there.

Hey Gman...glad to have you back.
The meeting was very informative, and damn exciting as well. The first 2 T-33's will hopefully be arriving shortly (perhaps an early Xmas present??). As Al said, these guys know what they're doing. The organization has running for over a year already, but obviously just settled into their new home here. Steve Baker has been very instrumental in getting them here, and the airport management is completely behind the operation. Look for some action coming up in the new year.
