Based on a suggestion from Gman and Mike I will be hosting an airside photo day on June 22nd. All morning commercial and military departures will be available and some close clear photo locations

Please e mail Gerry or Mike as you must be a member of this group or have been on the recent photo tour to qualify. Gerry or Mike have to vouch for each person

Staging will be at the east side of apron one and the complete infield between bravo, golf and 09. Up to 100 feet of the taxiways and 500 feet to the runway

We will provide airside parking on the road between the runway and bravo so you can bring a chair and camera supplies and refreshments that are non alcohol.

No washrooms and no littering airside

I will be donating $200 and particpants must donate $20 to me for the leukemia assocation upon entrance

We are not letting anyone else inside the fence during the airshow operating period and I don't want to diminish the St Thomas ability to raise funds thru selling photo passes.


This is intended to be a benefit for SWOAB members and the great photos that they share year round. I also want to support Gerry and recognise the great volunteer work he has done over the years and provide a donation

Wow a great cause and opportunity. One problem I already booked off Friday! I may still try and make a donation and have someone drop it off if I meet up with people on the Sunday. Can anything be confirm through this thread if the Friday arrival day Creamery Rd will be open and people not kicked off the road? Just wondering. Anyways Thanks for the opportunity to all and I expect to see some stellar pictures! Maybe if this takes off I'll make it out to next year departure day lol.
