Just heard first rumor that some sorta of fly In or Air Show maybe happening at YKF. No solid facts at this point but the buddy that told me the rumor is following up with the Airport at some point soon to see if he can get some straight answers. Has anyone else heard anything?

They are having a show on the same weekend as the Windsor International airshow. not sure what they are going to have there as all the major demo's are in windsor. I do know that Dan McLaren & Mach 1 productions is booked to do the sound at that show.

Wow horrible horrible planing. Is it actually going to be a show this year or just a fly in like many of the past years? I want to support my local airport that I fly from but this is just not going to work with all the acts being else where.

Mike Wiskus has been confirmed for the show, haven't heard about anything else though.

Do we know who was/is organizing the show? If its a private team maybe we can get them on the forum and support from everyone on hear when it comes to planing even. If its the municipal gov/ Airport then it may be a bit harder to though.

Good day guys,
I have not heard anything concrete on this show with the exception of the Mach 1 and Mike Wiskus. They are not listed on the Canadian Forces Airshow site looking for aircraft or any site that I am aware of. I think it is a great idea with the exception of going the same weekend as another airshow in the region. This takes from both shows. If it goes on a different weekend everyone can go to both shows and assests will not get watered down. i.e. Snowbirds at both shows, CF-18 etc.
It would great to have a venue or website where shows could try and deconflict this stuff. There is a deconfliction committee that is part of ICAS but unless your a member or know where to go, organisors no idea of conflicting shows..
Just my two cents...it would be good if we could get the one of the org people on our site. Maybe I could share some assets from Windsor for flybys?

Thanks for the response Gman. I'll try and get some answers in the next bit. Its a bad sign that the Org people for this show weren't at ICAS and seem to be out of the loop this year on the show dates and fact that most of the teams are booked up. Wont be made any easier if London is back on the map next year.
