Andrew is there many training flights anymore that go into CYKF? I remember that for a bit in early 2000's we had C-130's almost every other week flying in. Just wondering and thats for the heads to only wish I was in YQG to see it!

Sounds like it's going to be a late lunch, departure out of Trenton is slated for late morning followed by a nice 3-4hr round robin of Quebec and Ontario, so I would expect the jet to be there mid-afternoon or so (1400-1500 time frame). But again, that's in a perfect world, so anybody's guess is as good as mine!

wrt YKF - I imagine those were the SAR hercs coming in and out of YKF, in the summer they'll fly off to an airport for the day and pound the pattern, then stop for lunch. I'm guessing they had a fuel contract there, as they just got for St. Thomas. I haven't heard of any hercs going to YKF for training recently. The hercs don't stray far from Trenton in the winter as their serviceability drops dramatically.

Thanks for passing that along Tyssen, weather sucks here. Frag+24, we'll try again tomorrow.

Well that sucks. If you guys do come down tomorrow will it be around the same time and will you still be just doing some approaches?
