As some of you probably read over on airshowbuzz, the race was canceled today due to high winds. However, all the other acts were flying. I missed the first couple of minutes (very slow restaurant for lunch), but we saw what looked to be 4 T-6 Texans doing a pass, and then were gone. The Yankee Air Museums B-25 Yankee Warrior did a few nice passes. This was followed by the CHAA Aerobatic team doing a very nice show, especially considering the winds. After a long wait, the US Navy Legacy flight, which consisted of the Super Hornet and a Corsair. Unlike the Heritage flights, they only did one pass together, then separated for a go as solo acts. The SH did an amazing high speed pass, which seemed a lot closer to the Canadian side than the US side. After a couple more passes, the Corsair did a number of rolls, Cuban 8's, etc. Great little plane! We then had a couple of passes by the Red Bull PBY. Another classic aircraft. That was about it. They then announced the show was done. Such a shame, as I was really looking forward to this. Still not sure why a couple of the racers didn't go up and do some aerobatics for the crowd. If the CHAA could handle the winds, then I would have thought that they could have as well.

Oh well...here's a few pics taken with a point and shoot, so not the best.
