I know this is about 2000 km off topic.. co-worker just back from Newfoundland, shot this at St. John's Int'l. 6-bladed props! Doesn't look Canadian, is it? That green colour? Country of origin?

Funny you post that now.. that green building in the background is the Esso FBO/Handler.. I was just there yesterday. St. John's is a popular stop over for a/c coming across the pond from Europe, going against the jetstream (especially hercs). There was an MC-130 there while we were there. So many transient a/c come through that the CF actually has some reservists based at the airport who take care of all the transient crews! The flight planning room at Esso was covered with zaps from all sorts of units.

Well that's cool. I'm going out there next month; hope I see something like that!

Ever been? I hadn't. It's beautiful out there. Now I understand why it's called 'the rock'.
