Here are a few pics and updates from today...

The main projects right now are the media booth and paint stripping (now that the weather is nice :) ).

Thanks CT!

Here are a few pictures from yesterday. 4 of the Blue Crew are working on paint removal on the tail section and are now starting on the rear fueslage. 2 others are working on the one of the wings as well.

The upper turret is also coming along well, most of it has been reasembled. Only one of the .50's is real the other is made of wood, this is only temporary though.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately but not much has been going on. Basically just paint stripping, and some work on the port wingtip.

Just wanted to post this here to see if anyone knows of anyone or has any of these items that we are currently looking for. This isn't everything we need so if you have something you feel may be of use to us, let me know.

-front and rear turrets
-centre section large oxygen bottles (the long 4' green ones)
-bomb bay doors (extrusions)
-mid upper turret ring (mounting adapter)
-4 rolls royce merlin carburetors pd-16
-sprocket box under the pilots seat on front spar
-counterweights for the tail section (large)
-propellor governors to control pitch of blade
-and basically anything from the center section

Thanks

I've been in touch with the writer and photographer named Kevin Moore who has a current article out on a guy named Allan Ruben who has a large collection of materials. It may be worth you guys contacting him to see if he has anything or use to you. Article link: http://www.barnstormers.com/eFLYER/2009 ... gain2.html
