Sad news today.
As of August 1st, AC will distcontinue service into YHM.
At this point there is 5 daily flights that will be cancelled.
Get all of the pictures you can.

It sounds like there is a lot of changes coming for Air Canada not just in YHM but company wide.

Very Sad. not only for the lose of Service and we can not see them in Hamilton anymore. But the People that will be out of a job. never good to here that.

Some of the other changes are:
1. They say there is a hiring freeze.
2. All training is cancelled unless it needs to meet regulatory requirements.
3. They going use the CRJ100/200 less and fly the Dash-8's and the CRJ705's more in an effort to save fuel.
4. Some routes will have flights reduced.
5. There hasn't been anything said concerning any layoffs for YXU.
Hopefully, this will be short lived.
