I'm positive that Kevin and Mike will do everything possible to make these guests welcome. The flightline at TOM is huge now, with lots of space to the south barely used last year. It wont be as busy next year without a jet team anyway. There should be a nice size tent set up on the flightline for these people.
As far as meeting up, I haven't had much success with that either, especially at more distant shows. The usual problem is timing. Attempts are usually made to meet up early in the morning, but then people don't get there in time. You don't want to meet up too late in the morning, because by then, you've usually got your seat scoped out, and you don't want to lose it by meeting up somewhere. And after the show, most people try to leave a bit early to beat the crowds. Shows such as TOM are even harder to arrange, as you have all those intangibles such as traffic and border crossings. For TOM, I get there on Friday, and stay the week-end. I'm on the grounds by 0630 each day, but am mostly free after 0900, so I can meet up anytime after that.
I think that having JAM at most local Ontario shows could be used as a meeting place though. I met a few people last year at the trailer.

Yeah I have the same problem when trying to meet up with people. We'll have to try and work something out though. I wouldn't mind doing it after the show, I usually stick around to get pictures of the static's without as many people in them or to see any departures at a Sunday show. With the Horsemen at this one I wonder if we could set a group photo or something with them, at least that would get everyone together. Anyway it's still a long way out, we've got plenty of time to think of something.
