Monthly Get-together??

So, is anyone interested in getting together once a month or so? As I suggested earlier, we could tell stories, show pictures, etc over a couple of cold ones. My first thought would be at the Katana Cafe, perhaps the first Wednesday of every month (Katana Cafe is open til 2200 that day). Just a thought...let's hear any other comments or suggestions.

I'm Down for that Paul, they got great food at the Kafe. my only problem is i work 'til 7pm most Wednesdays. I'd like to hear what others think.

Good evening guys,

Maybe we could do a Wednesday once in a while so we could go to the Katana.

I think if we are going to do a YYZ spotting day it should be on a weekend.

I suggested in the other string that maybe we could do a KMTC (Selfridge), KDTW day or even add Toledo in the mix somehow. Could be a long day but I could get us photo tours of each base and KDTW is very busy with those red tail guys (Northwest). It would be good to get some shots before they turn into Delta.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

P.S. I'll be posting a some photos in our new section once I start scanning. Yes, scanning. Most of my old stuff is print.

I'm in. Any day is good for me. Katana is perfect. Would also love to go to Toledo, Selfridge too. What about Trenton? Never been on a tour of a base; Gman great if you set one of those up.....AL

I recommend a day in Trenton, just got back from the museum and it should definitely be checked out. They just re-opened the Halifax exhibit and that alone is worth the trip! There is also an excellent airplane park with all kinds of aircraft that served in the CF, including the CF-5 in special 419 paint that I'm sure we all remember from London airshows of the past. Plus, if you organize yourselves as a group you can send a letter to the WComd and request a visit, I'd gladly be the OPI to set you guys up with a few tours of the squadrons here in Trenton.

I Propose High-Noon at the Katana Kafe on the first Saturday of each month as our daily meet and greet. That way it doesnt get in the way of Christmas and other Money snatching holidays
