It looks like we are going off on 2 tangents here, with some planning on meeting at the Katana Cafe, and others talking about going to YYZ. How about if we see what everyone would like to do in this topic, so we can try and get something together.

As for myself, not sure if I could do YYZ next week-end, but definitely can do the Katana Cafe for lunch and a brew or two.

Lets here from everyone else.

I am good with the Katana Cafe. Pending what time my son's Hockey is at. he was 11 last week so I am guessing he will be 9 or 10 so i should be good.

November 1st is my son's first birthday party, so I won't be able to make either location....or can we hold his birthday at Katana Cafe? :twisted:

I am definitely available this Saturday 1st November, after that my schedule is crammed till Saturday 13th December.
If anyone is interested for this Saturday, please let me know either way. The cost to go up to YYZ will be cheaper the more folks that wish to go. Other than that just divide the number of bodies by $60.00 for the fuel.

We can leave London at 06:00 and get up there just in time for sunrise around 08:00. We can shoot till it's gets dark, or you run out of ISO hahahaha.

As far as I can tell, looks like 5 of us for 1200 Saturday;
Andy, Mike, Tyssen, Al and myself.

I'll check with the restaurant tomorrow and see if we need a reservation. Anyone else interested? The more, the merrier.

Well, thanks a lot to everyone who said they were going to show up today. I had a great time sitting at a table for 5 on my own.

I guess I come from a generation that follows through on a commitment. And if I couldn't make that commitment, I would certainly do may best to let everyone know.

I texted Tyssen to let him know I was running a bit behind having gotten caught up in a few important things seeing as he had paul's #, when I finally did make it out there the place was empty. I'll pick up your tab, paul, if we ever spark one of these up again... shame it didn't work out.

Mark and I had an awesome time at YYZ. Well up till 14:00 hrs it was just a good time, then when the skies cleared there was never a time the CF card wasn't filling up.

Picture of the day (had the skies cleared a bit earlier), was the landing of Ethiad A340-642X with those monster engines. What a sight.

Sorry you had a lonely day at the Katana :cry:
