Hey guys,

Heads up. there is an ex Delta 737-200 possibly in Sky King colors that will be in YXU at around 1515 local time. The weather does not look to good but I hope someone can get a pic. Not sure where it is going from London.

Here's a picture:

Too bad I was working when this bird arrived. If anyone has a clue where it is heading, it would be interesting to find out.

What a great surprise this morning.

I made my way out to catch this 737-200 and I thought I was having a flashback.
For you airline buffs out there-
The aircraft has Skyjet titles however the paint scheme is in old National Airlines colors complete with the Sun King on the tail. I used to spot aircraft in Florida when I was younger and saw many National aircraft in my time. They never operated 737s (727s, DC-10s and 747) however it gave me a big smile seeing this aircraft today. :D
Can you tell?

The actualy aircraft is an ex Delta Airlines aircraft N326DL 737-232. The aircraft served with them faithfully for several years and then was stored. There is quite a few pictures of her on airliners.net.

Anyway here is a quick picture. I will post some more in the photo section later tonight.

Just like Gman, I decided to pop by the airport to see this special visitor.

Included are my versions of the plane as it sits on ramp 2.

Even had a chance to go airside and check the plane out up close.
As I was watching, they discovered a fuel leak in the right engine, so they decided to fire up the
engine to see if it would fix itself...it didn't and a WestJet mechanic was called in to have a look at
it.

As I write (1pm) I can see the 732 flying over my house.....so I imagine they got the engine problem
fixed.

Hope we see more stuff like this at YXU.

Nice shots Mark.
What photo software do you use? You pictures always come out awesome.
I had to use my 300 today and it never comes out as clear as my 18-55.

Any idea where they were going after CYFB and to what company?
The Patch on the side almost made it look military.

A sweet catch.

Today I used my 80-200mm F2.8 lens. As far as software, Photoshop CS2 is what I got. You also have to realize I have lots of experience fixing pictures for Airliners.
