Would like to meet or talk to fellow spotters in Cambridge or surrounding area. I do not have a vehicle on the road right now and would like to get out to the airport and take photos and of course " collect the cursed registrations" Plane Spotting was much easier in Scotland. Public transportation went everywhere including Airports.

I'm currently living in Kitchener near the Hospital and may get a free day on the evening in the next bit. I also need to get out to the airport as I will be starting training to get my currency back this spring so a good excuse to go out. Let me know if you interested or if there or any other spotters that are wanting to go and maybe we can stop in at the runway cafe or something if its a nice day.

So by the sound of that you are a pilot, recreational or PPl. I was thinking more when the weather warms up and there is a little more sunshine. Its snowing here after an almost perfect day yesterday. Thanks for replying. Euan

PPL but as mentioned not current right now. (hopefully soon-crosses fingers and wishes for money). Yeah I hear you about the weather and the fact it snowed yesterday. Just keep me posted as to when you want to go out to the airport and we shall make it work.

I am envious it is one of the things I wanted to do when I was younger. I got my first ride in a Cessna 172 at Glasgow airport I was Ballast according to the instructor, he handed me a barf bag but I did not need it . I was 13 at the time. At that time you used to be able to walk up to a BEA desk and ask to go onto a Trident and look around the airplane while they were turning it around. Euan
