A "Victory Flight" has been added to the show just before the Blue Angels fly, the planes involved are Russell groups Me-109 and Spitfire, and VWoC Corsair and maybe their new P-40 or Mustang along with the Lancaster. An F-4 has also been added to the line-up.

From Mike Luther on ASB:

The "Victory Flight" has now been expanded to include the Lancaster, Russell Group's Me-109 & Spitfire, and VWoC's Corsair, Mustang, Hurricane and P-40!

That will be quite the flight! Interesting how they're all Canadian registration too. Sure is nice to see more warbirds popping up in Canada. It's really something special that Mike Potter has put together with VWoC.

Couldn't agree more! just need to have those types of flights in our air shows up here more ie CNE or any that could afford the space energy to put them on.VWoC is fast becoming a must visit for me.

Besides flying in the "Victory Flight", the Spitfire will also be doing an acro routine.

Aircraft line-up is out. Can you believe they have 17 Hercs listed, as well as some excellent warbirds.

Awesome! That's old school London style. I'll be at this show for sure now.

Hey guys,

Does anyone want to hook up to go for arrivals and say the Sat show? A SWOAB weekend maybe. I'd like to do some photos of DTW as well...the transition of Delta/NW aircraft.
I think the arrivals will be better than the show at this point...

I wish I had a ramp in St Thomas!!

Normally would say yes, but I'm a volunteer at the show, so I'm there from Friday to Sunday anyway. Definitely have to meet up there though.

I agree, we should have a SWOAB get together. I won't be able to make it on arrival day but I will be at the show on either Saturday or Sunday.

Hopefully they'll put some (or all) of the Herc's in the air. :D

My thoughts exactly. And less of the GP to crowd things.

They are open for arrivals on the Friday, cost is $20.00. You can also watch some of the action from Ecorse Rd, but you will get kicked out when the Blues do their practice flight. They shut down the whole road when they're up.
