Hey Gman its sounds like it would be a awesome idea to carpool as many people down as we can. I have another aviation buddy and his Dad who normally do the Arrival day as well at TOM so I'll talk to them too. Hope I can take a unpaid day and not burn off one of my few vacation days.

I hope some of you will be there Sunday too because I'll be in Dayton until then.

At this point it doesn't look like I'll be staying for the sunday show but you never know with weather and the like things can change eh. Last year we were lucky and the weather blew to either side of the show but it was a close call.

I found out that the Mig-21 that was at the show in 2005 and at TOM last year is not Will Ward's, it is actually owned by the Van Air Venture organization, Will was only flying it to get checked out in it.

His Mig-21 can be seen on his webpage.

This is unconfirmed but ICAS is showing that the A-10 East demo team will be the ACC demo for the show (this might still change).

It would be nice to see the A-10 demo, I haven't seen one for several years. My fingers are crossed for an F-15E or F-22 demo though.

Don't forget that the ICAS site still says Windsor is getting 3 ACC demos. I wouldn't believe anything on the ICAS site anymore.

The P-51 did a heritage with both the Viper and the Herc, but not at the same time.

They used 2 different P51's for the 2 heritage flights. I believe both were C models?

P-51B "Old Crow" flew with the C-130 and P-51D "Hurry Home Honey" flew in the HF with the F-16.

From Tom Walsh on ASB, the P-51 in the HF will be "Moonbeam McSwine".

From Mike Luther on WIX, they have just added WHF's Skyraider and Birddog. That's 4 Skyraiders for the show so far.

Its turning into a great Viet' themed show for sure. Just wish they would of gotten a AC-130. Anyways I'm not sure yet but I maybe seriously looking to drive down with anyone who is interested in going down. I'll keep you guys posted and just let me know if you want a new aviation buddy for the weekend :)

Tom Walsh posted over on ASB that the aircraft list on the website will be updated in the next few days.
