The theme for the show is Vietnam. So far Mike Luther has confirmed that they have booked the AC-47 and Eric Downing's EA-1E Skraider.

EDIT: DATES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO JULY 18-19, 2009.

The CWH Lancaster has been added. It will be flying on both days.

Mike just posted this info about the ground battle over on WIX.

We will have a WWII battle each morning, and a Vietnam battle each afternoon. For the afternoon battle, we will have a convoy attacked, O-2 come in, AC-47 arrive, 2 Huey's drop off troops, pick them back up, then 2 Skyraider's come in with pyro.

The TOM site has been updated, it looks like they will be having a C-130 gathering along with the Vietnam theme.

I got a shot of the 21 at TOM this past year and wondered why he didn't fly. Sound like it was more so just a test run to shows this past year and the plan was for a display in 09. I'll try and upload the shot tonight.

There were a lot of certification issues with the -21 last year. They're being resolved now and he'll be throwing it around the sky this summer.

It would be great to see the Collings Foundation F-4D Phantom II and also the TA-4J, if they are still flying. Would make sense that both appear in light of the theme for 2009. I went last year, and it was a great show.

Here are a few I took from the 2008 show, it was really well done, and I think I might attend both days (only doing the morning photo tour once, though).

Dates have been changed to July 18-19...don't know the reason, but sometimes means a jet team is available.

John Mohr will not be performing at TOM because of the date change.
