If you have a little spare time this weekend come on out to the Guelph airport and visit the home of the Tiger Boys. Lots to see and do, many antique aircraft from southern Ontario will make the trek into Guelph for a fun day of getting up close and personal with great aircraft and some local flying legends. Sunday will be different than Saturday as different aircraft will pop in, some for a bit others for the whole day. BBQ is available, rides in TigerMoths and Fleet 16s ( last year it was $40.00 donation).

The airfiled is open, no restrictions except common sense as to viewing locations around the field. Great photo ops for those who love vintage stuff. Past visitors have included harvards, T-28s, Stearmans, Chippies, lots of moths of all varieties, cubbies, Wacos, Meyers OTW, homebuilts and too many other types to list.

If you are not heading to Gatineau, stop on by and say hello. I will be at the airfield by 07:30 both days and will be there till after the supper hour. Look for the guy wearing the white Aussie style hat with the Mich. ANG patch sewn on the front.

Forgot to mention that I will be ( well my nephew and his buddy for high school community hours) selling tickets where you can win a 12in X 36in picture of the P-51 Glamorous Gal that I took this year at Geneseo and it is a beauty if I do say so myself. Black and white, she looks like it was taken at some English airfield during WWII.

Tickets will be on sale starting at 09:00 and the draw will take place at 14:00. The winner will have until 16:00 hrs to claim their picture so you will have to be on the field sometime before two pm and then again after 2pm to claim your prize.

Money raised will go to the Tiger Boys to keep em flyin.
