New Logo

I think it is time to get a logo for this site. If anyone wants to take a stab a creating one please feel free and pass them along to me. Get out you creative side use you imagination have some fun with it.

Thats crazy mike because I had just started sketching some ideas for a new banner. I'm a graphic designer by trade so I'll take a stab at it. Also if people have ideas but just not the know how to make them "look pretty". I'm more then willing to take this on as a project.

Quick question mike the top banner bar to the site. Is it possible to have a banner that takes up the entire space? If you have pixel dimensions that would help as well.

Didn't waste any time, did you. That looks pretty good up top right now, but I was thinking it could somehow incorporate a map of SW Ontario in the background, maybe with airport ID's??

Haha sweet i like that idea. I was thinking something similar but with a logo or neat type for SOWA BUZZ layered over top and maybe even a plane or 2 in formation to keep the theme clear.

I had no idea - I may be asking for your help sometime! I've always had trouble creating things in Photoshop that didn't start as pictures.

Always willing to help when needed. I also may take the time to run some t-shirt designs by you guys in the next bit. I'm trying to come up with something to sell to fellow air show/plane lovers. Keep the ideas coming guys and hopefully I can pull something together in the near future.

The Banner at the top right now I just put together today. somthing along the same lines. I just want to keep the site open to new ideas and let the members feel like they have a say as they always do. the pixel size on the one up top is 698x168. I think it can fill the entire space. I just have to get rid of the tittle to the left just have not had time to take a look and see if I can get rid of it.

For the logo which will be tied in with what ever banner works well are people wanting it modern or vintage. With a plane or with out one? I will create and post only good concepts I get, but I'm interested in ideas/preferences. Say one idea would be a F-86 etc I'll be able to sketch and scan ideas this week but won't be able to really start working on it till next week (Feb 2) do to moving. Keep in touch Mike and let me know of any deadlines you may have in mind.
