Thanks! I'm just using the typical 75-300mm lens. Here's another Jazzy for you

I am sure that it is well out of my range however what are you asking for it? I have a Cannon 30D at present with need for a long range telescpoe for it. G

G Looking for 1300 CAD on the 100-400. 6 months old, babied . Retails for 1749+tax That's a good price if it is a sharp copy. Cheapest in Canada is here: http://www.thecamerastore.com/products/ ... 45-56l-usmIt's an extremely versatile lens, and great for aircraft photography. A fixed lens is really of limited use to aviation buffs due to the constant changing distance of an approaching aircraft. Invariably you are either too close, or still too far away. On the bright side of having a prime lens, they work beautifully with converters. The 100-400mm and the 1.4 conv are not happy campers together. Mine was over $2000 with tax. Cheers. Martin.
