Sitting on Creamery Road at the corner just before the straightaway. I shot FJMG taxiing to the stand on the opposite side of the airport. The power of 1000mm (Canon EF 500 f4.0 with 2.0 extender) allows for a completely new set of possible angles at London. Or anywhere else for that matter.

The take off shot is using the same reach of 1000mm. MG banking to the east to avoid a large convoy of migrating Mallard Ducks that filled the sky.

More testing of the big stuff to come. If any members have Canon bodies, you are more than welcome to try out either the EF400 f2.8 or EF500 f4.0 with or without the 2.0 extender. I am hoping to get my hands on an EF300 f2.8 at the end of January too. Work is traditionally slow for me in January February. Hopefully we can arrange to be at the same place at the same time and you can try out the fancy gear.
