There was an interesting visitor to CYXU, albeit briefly!

A Piaggio P.180 Avanti reg. CGLEM

I am pretty sure I got a few of it arriving and departing.....once I wade through all my wings and wheels pics and get to that card I will see what I got

I've seen your pics on Airliners Mark, great as always! I'd love to have seen it - and specially heard it! It would sound really different with that engine placement.

I just had to post this of another interesting visitor to London!

An old high school friend of mine came to London back in February to do a presentation to the aviation students at John Paul 2. He told all sorts of stories about his career and showed some of his "home" videos from the cockpit of assorted CF aircraft. He is also an artist so I just had to show one of his paintings too!!!

He's got a website with a bit of a bio and did I mention, he has over 1300 hours in the CF18 as well as being an instructor pilot in the Hawk.

He parks in our hangar all the time in the winter. The props recieve a lot of damage from the main wheels kicking up FOD.
