I have to say this was the best airshow for military acts I have ever been to! Great work Gerry, Mike and the rest of the WnW team! Can't wait to see what you guys are going to do for London next year.

Here are a few shots of the F-15's...

Anyone else notice this during the C-17 reverse thrust? I got pics of it both days so it must be fairly common. I've just never seen it before. Maybe the humid air?

Beautiful shot....what equipment did you use to take it (if you don't mind me asking).

Thanks Topgun3

I am using a Canon 50D with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens
I've had the lens for 2 seasons now. Just upgraded the body this year (from a Rebel XTi) - Big difference.

Great Shots! If anyone would like some space on the WnW site for their favourites please let me know. If you are interested I recommend ~1024px with copyright/web home superimposed on the photo.

We have had some specific requests from Texan II crews for landing, taxi & take off shots. Also looking for a good shot of the KC-135 for something special. Please pm me if you are interested. I know everyone is digging through their shots this week and it will take some time.

Thanks again.

I got a few shots fixed up...I could fix up more if they were interested in other angles.

Here is a decent static shot of the KC-135. Unfortunately due to bad lighting conditions at the flying display I couldn't get a good shot...everything is back lit.

Here are my videos of the show on Saturday. Sunday I took pictures, but I am way behind on those.

http://www.airshowstuff.com/st_thomas_airshow_2009.htm

Here is a special video, where you can RideAlong! with Jenny, Tyson, and Walt during their Sunday performance. Thanks to them and Paul for setting it up!

Enjoy!

C130 Cheerleading Squad!!!!

These guys had a blast cheerleading the crowd on Saturday from the wing tip of their C130. They did an awesome job leading the crowd at cheering for more passes by the New Mexico ANG F16's (The Taco's).
The announcer even told them to try and tip the plane by jumping on the wing!!!!
Thanks for the entertainment guys!!!!!!

From the angle of that shot, you must have been standing right near us.

Cool, on Saturday I was under the tail of the C130 by the CF18 and on Sunday I was out near the trees at the east end of the airport with Lindsaywp. Thursday, Friday, and Monday it was Creamery Rd at the London airport LOL!!!

It will be a while before I finish my photos but I edited a couple of my favorites that I've seen so far.
