I'm just curious as to what time the field parking was closed because from the time that I past the entrance to that field (about 12:00pm) it then took me close an 1.5 hrs to get into the main gates and finally watching the show. I don't want to make an assumption, but something tells me that it had everything to do with the OPP not expecting to handle a 3 way lineup on the airport road. . Yeah I'm sure the OPP realize their failure on the Sun show and I've taken the last 2 days to cool off , but I wasn't very happy with them that day lol. The show was great and since I wasn't able to borrow the camera I wanted so I ended up getting to enjoy the air show old school with out looking through a viewfinder. Thanks Mike, Gerry, Paul and Ty for all your work and everyone else involved it was a great show! (I'll just get parked early everywhere I go from now on

What were the 3 A-10's doing on Sunday when they were circling like vultures? Has anyone seen that before?

I have to say though it was pretty sweet! Tyssen said the pilots came up with their whole display when they were holding on the taxiway waiting to take off.

That's the same thing the North Vietnemese used to do! Go into a defensive wheel so that if anybody attacks, they will have another plane on their 6.

I just found a quote from a Retired US Fighter pilot about the A10's Maneuver: "The defense of the Hog(s) will be to circle in a daisy-chain with the members of the flight defending/occupying a deep six position for each other. While circling the A-10s keep the gun pointed in a threatening position for an attacker." Ed Rasimus Fighter Pilot (ret)

Later Mike Thanks Mike! We saw them pushing it into the hangar and wondered what they were going to do with it! Now we know.

Later Mike Just wondering how is the crew going to get here. Is it going to be some military flight or just bunch of gear heads arriving by commercial means.
