Well, since I wasn't able to get out for the T-33 arrivals today, I'll jump on the overflight bandwagon with a pair from a slowish day at Hawk Cliff yesterday.

When did you take the pictures? Especially the AirBerlin one. I was in Toronto on Sunday...and remember seeing AirBerlin on my Radarbox later in the afternoon.

The Airberlin was 4:15, and Virgin at 12:30. Quite a few different airlines when you take the time to look. I also came across a Singapore, and Cargolux 747in addition to some of the usual suspects.

Holy awesome shots.

Didn't get a chance to post this ealier but Paul & I had what we're pretty sure was a KC-135 fly over the cliff around noon Saturday, westbound. 747-style contrails coming off a gray 707 airframe. Poor light tho to get detail. But!.. at 1600 we had a C-17 fly right overhead southbound. Too bad all the big guns had left for the day, sorry no pics.

sounds like some good sightings, I'll add it along with the goshawk and the low golden eagles to the reasons why I should have been at the cliff on Saturday afternoon!

That goshawk was so cool! No more than 10' over our heads!

Noticed this 744 going to Toronto...so it was descending thru 21,000 feet.

I love this thread! I walk around staring at the sky all the time - my two little girls now have the same habit!

That was Dutch KC-10....but anywho...I'm glad you mentioned military overflights...here is a catch from a few days ago.

Reg. 90-0535 C-17 (Callsign DANDA38) flying at FL335 on Oct. 17th

Hey Mark...a request. Can you post some of the smaller jets, like a 717, and some of the Airbus? I finally have a spotters guide book, but it is missing almost anything Airbus, and the 717.

Thanks,
Paul
